Date Posted: 21:09:53 11/12/09 Thu In reply to: Ashena 's message, "*Why is it always the ugly truth?* (This one)" on 19:47:21 11/12/09 Thu Alicia smiled as she caught the waiter's unprofessional thoughts about Ashena's dress, she'd be sure his manager knew about it later, or maybe she'd just let him know her thoughts on the matter herself in awhile. Letting the man go after their drinks had been order Alicia looked over the menu as well though she truthfully had little interest in food at the moment - not with Zeth's hand pressed lightly against her thigh. She knew what Zeth wanted food wise - and usually on any other given day - but the shadow of doubt still lingered. Where before at Velvet Underworld she'd have ordered up his food without a second though, Alicia not fumbled and waited to assure she was correct before making a move. It was something none would notice - but a trait there none the less. Mix matched hues shifted upwards from the menu as Ashena spoke - eyes watching the woman with a civil kindness those of a debutant upbringing would hold - though the blonde had not. "It's fresh - of that I can assure you - they get the chicken from the farm in the next city over and the vegetables are grown there as well. Far better than the pizza's they use to serve." Soft smile given as she thought of the once pizza joint the same location use to sell - it was funny how fickle the mind could be. She had not corrected Ashena or offered another name by which to be addressed as - the name produced a pleasant sound and while it may have come off a tad shallow Alicia liked it. Mrs. Baslazari - it had a nice ring to it - and she rarely had the chance to hear it. As Zeth and Ashena began to speak about work the menu was folded and set aside as a sign to the waiter they were ready to order. Unsure how to address the current topic or her the demons she still possessed Alicia simply smiled happy that the two of them had something to fill the silence with.
