Job Description:Brief Description The Equipment Operator is responsible for removing or installing the following: Flow lines, permanent well head scaffolding, well houses, well head valves and fittings. Other duties also include rigging hardline piping, carring/hammering hardline, flange bolt-up, shoveling snow and gravel, wrapping flow lines and strapping tanks. Detailed Description Operate construction and maintenance equipment such as vac trucks, super suckers, front end loaders, tractors, tankers and other heavy duty equipment to load and unload various materials and conduct industrial construction operations. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on equipment, including oil changes and lubrication. Prepare, update, and maintain logs, records, and equipment maintenance schedules. Conduct well head and well house inspections. Inspect, adjust, and perform minor equipment repairs. Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Operate oil test seperators, man lifts and triplex pumps. Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures. Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations. Job Requirements Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years related experience and training required. Experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment preferred. Class A CDL required X endorsement required Certifications Current DOT medical card and commercial driver’s license with hazardous material endorsement required. Driving record must meet Company requirements. North Slope Training Cooperative certification may be required.
