Grace

Never beyond God's grip of grace. The most basic simple component of the Christian faith that can be so unknown by all. Grace is not something that you can earn. Going to church a thousand Sundays will not provide it for you. You cannot work for it, purchase it, or even learn it. Grace is simply a free gift from God. Given through His only begotten son, Jesus Christ. For His death on the cross provided not only forgiveness of all sins but it provided this unique gift called "GRACE." God's infinite grace is always there to remind me not only of my sin but of His power to make my life anew day by day.

My Encounter With The Power of Grace

After many years of struggling with sexual sin in my life I began a journey. The journey was seeking the face of God. I was attending church but bound with the chains of sexual immorality. I would read my bible daily and constantly seek God in prayer. For months I cried out to God in a candle lit room. I would pray and find myself back into a pit of sin. My addiction was such a hold on my life that I contemplated suicide on a daily basis and even one time locked myself in a dark room with a loaded shot gun beside my bed. Then one night after crying out to God and literally wearing myself out in anguish before Him I heard His voice as loud as someone speaking in the room. I was half out of it but I realized he was speaking to my heart. He said to me, "my grace is sufficient for you." I immediately remembered the passage in scripture when God spoke these same words to Paul. Paul had a thorn in his flesh and while we don't know any details of this thorn, we know that it was a huge plague upon his life. For the first time in my life, I had come to the face of God. His loving grace showered upon me and I felt the inner release of all of my sins. I felt the sweet washing away of guilt and turmoil that had gripped my life for so many years. I finally realized that it was His grace that was able to enable me to overcome. I realized He loved me with an everlasting love that would cover a multitude of sins. His grace did not give me freedom to sin but it gave me understanding that he was with me and not against me. My friend, there is power in the blood of Christ. That power to give you grace by his death. The power of the cross can and will change your life. Seek God and find his grace for your life.

Day By Day Grace

The bible tells us that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. Daily I must repent before the Lord as David did. None of us is better than the other. We all lack and we all sin from time to time. We need daily grace to be a part of out lives.
