We all remember the excitement that builds within the night before our birthday, Christmas and the Easter Bunny's arrival. We buzz with it, can't sleep and lay awake waiting for our parents to wheel in the pushbike, scooter or doll's pram; whatever it may be and we're told to go back to sleep. I know too well about the clean-ups. I have at times used the neighbours' wheelie bins to place used paper plates, soft drink and beer cans, empty wine and spirit bottle and left over foodstuffs after having bagged it all in the first place. It helps to invite the neighbours and kids that you know are smokers. Ashtrays on the inside and outside decking tables are a plenty littered with cigarette butts. I know exactly what you're talking about Steve. McDonalds tops it off nicely for kids for dinner. We refer to McDonalds as Maccas over here.
