 Yesterday was one of those days I'm pleased is behind me. So busy I was only able to grab a cup of coffee, a banana, eat half a sandwich and have a couple of cigs. I'm teaching year 6 kids this year and I don't know what it is but I'm finding boys named Michael the most difficult to handle. Things have changed over the years. We had a principal a couple of years ago who wouldn't put up with any nonsense, if we had a problem with a disruptive student we would send him to that principal and he would have him or her sit outside his office to do their work. We can longer do that according to the district inspector, it damages the kids' self esteem and wellbeing. No wonder teachers are leaving in the droves.
