Miss Illinois/Iowa United States without a doubt needs a new, fair, honest director. The staff was fabulous with Nikki and Lindsey as coaches, Yadira HMU, Eva Flis photographer. The leadership was not there. If you are posting this looking for a directorship, United States needs you. Derrick charged for EVERYTHING!!i agree with previous post the coaches were everything but every time my daughter needed to do something there was a fee involved ugh!!! The other expenses were optional. Derrick didn't require you to get hair & makeup, photogtaphy or video. Coaching was optional and I received a $500 gift certificate towards my gown from Hannah's. He bummed a ride to nationals and didn't pay his fair share of the ride, he bummed meals from people throughout the week, and slept on the floor of his contestants rooms. He should be ashamed of how he treated his contestants. I believe that is what the post is referring to. Derrick Lee likes to use people and not pay his way for anything.
