Subject: Girdle Sizing

I think one of the most undesirable situations is sizing of shapewear. Back in the 60's and70's you could specify Short, Medium, or Long Torso Shapewear. Today, manufacturers have settled on the least amount of fabric vs. the correct sizing for comfort, which boils down to short torso's and wide bottoms. I have a very long torso and it is difficult to find a size that correctly fits my body. I have found that a Rago 9071 gives me the best fit for a long torso even though VaBein claims the 1292 says it is for long torso bodies. So my preference is the Rago 6210 and Rago 6209. I can walk thru Walmart for hours on the concrete floors and still feel good after pounding my legs on concrete for a couple of hours. Ultimately, I revert to my 1980's 'I can't believe it's a girdle' girdle. So Sad they are no longer made. Ladies [and men] don't know what they are missing!
