To Observer

Interesting - Another Ivyleaf article I came across and one that you might find interesting, if you haven`t seen it already, is entitled " The Other Side of Corsetry". About half way down she talks about satin and its effects. I think that one has to take some of the stories at the end with a large pinch of salt?
I had a similar experience with my wife. In the early days she wore medium control roll-ons and there was little satin used. Later when she noticed her figure was changing, she said they were no real use anymore and decided to wear firm control girdles, which had the satin panels on the front and sides with the special satin downstretch panel you mention at the back. The lycra elastic used was a lot heavier and far more controlling than that used today of course and I can remember that she said it took quite a long time to get used to wearing one all day but that the considerable benefits certainly outweighed the disadvantages.
