Thanks for the research paper. But I was thinking of something a little less technical. Okay, a lot less technical. Here are my personal thoughts on girdle firmness.

1) A panty girdle is firm control when...You struggle to put it on. Slowly working it up all around until it's firmly in place. Considerable effort is required to get into a extra firm girdle.

2) A panty girdle is firm control when...While wearing it, if you pinch you're firmly girdled bottom you can't pull the girdle away from your skin. Most modern girdles I've tried it is relatively easy to do.

3) A panty girdle is firm control when...You typically wouldn't wear it for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Wearing it for long periods of time could get somewhat uncomfortable.

4) A panty girdle is firm control when...You feel your wife or girlfriends girdled bottom and it feels steely hard.

5) A panty girdle is firm control when...You're wife or girlfriend takes her girdle off in the car on the way home from a special event.

6) A panty girdle is firm control when...

I've personally experienced all of these over the years. Please feel free to add any you might think of.
