I’m sure my regular girdle restricts my stride and wiggle more than my panty girdles. How much restriction depends on their cut, tightness and construction. My wife and I try to wear the same brands and models that are mostly designed to shape, smooth and control our midsections.
Our favorite brands typically extend from the waist to the hips and are made of firmer, more restrictive materials. We both like the ones with reinforced panels for added control. Due to tightness, some models can significantly restrict movement, particularly stride and cause a hip wiggle.
Before our figures were under control, we started wearing control garments overnight and yes, I find sleeping while wearing control can be very enjoyable. The gussets have a very unique pressure while holding everything up and out of the way.
The newest Skims smooth me out and have an open gusset for easy bathroom trips. I have to remember that they are a SHAPING garment for women and pull in my waist and perhaps the gusset is a smidge too tight. They are also so perfectly seamless under tight jeans and leave no visible lines.
