Subject: warning to all

My daughter competed in ANTSO this past year.

Did it cost a ton of money? Yes!

Did my daughter make top 12? No!

Was she disappointed? Of course!

Did she have a wonderful time? Yes!

Would she go back? In a heartbeat

Did it take way to long for us to get our scores? Yes, but it was justified in the email sent from the office.

Did I think the winners should have won? Yes, all of the winners that I interacted with were very deserving of their title.

Do I need a voy board to validate my daughters scores? Absolutely not

The entire National event was a blast for her. From check in with special guests, roaming musicians and a fantastic motivational speaker to a great event on the dinner cruise to one of the best productions I have ever seen to my daughter making friends with girls that are beautiful both inside and out.

My daughter came to me after seeing a post on Facebook and asked if we should post our scores. Once I saw who was leading this board I knew that we had to stay far away from it. I refuse to feed into this woman's rant over scoring as this is a common thing with her. We have witnessed her rants in other pageant systems and witnessed her trying to rally people in Philadelphia at the ANTSO event.

My daughter wasn't really upset about her scores but after seeing the posts on Facebook her self-esteem was lowered. I feel awful for the daughter of the lady who is starting this drama because her daughter did make top 12 out of a competitive group and she is totally downgrading her accomplishment.

My daughter had a very low score in one phase. Were we upset? Of course, but after talking with our pageant coach we knew were off the mark with our preparation.

Again, yes ANTSO cost more money then I wanted to pay BUT it was worth it in the end. The national event was a highlight of our summer.
