I've been seeing a lot of videos on YouTube of people getting B12 shots to help give them a boost of energy and get up and go. I'd been feeling sluggish for quite some time, so I asked my registered nurse wife Emma about B12 shots. She told me they work better for some people than others, but it wouldn't hurt either way if I got one. She told me she'd give me one this past Friday night.

She made good on that promise right before bedtime after I got out of the shower. I'm never a fan of needle jabs, but I usually just look the other way and grit my teeth. Its actually not the needle I usually feel, but the sting like when they give you a tetanus shot.

Emma produced a regular size syringe with 1mL red colored B12. She looked at me and grinned as she asked me to bend over the dresser. I looked at her like "what?" and she said "honey this'll hurt a lot less going in the butt." I was already naked as a jaybird with just a towel around me so I just dropped it and let my sweetheart do her thing. LOL, I had a death grip on the dresser, waiting for a sudden jab. I felt her swab alcohol on the upper part of my left butt cheek near my hip.

Emma pinched up a lump of ass cheek and said "one, two, three"....I felt a little pinch, then a pretty good sting. I went "OW!!"...and just like that she said "All done baby. You're probably going to be a little sore back here for a day or two." She put a little bandaid on it and we watch TV for a couple hours. She wanted to make sure I didn't have an allergic reaction. I didn't, but my ass was really sore when I woke up. It felt like someone hit me in the butt with a claw hammer LOL. I don't want another one of those. I'll try to get my B12 gradually by dietary means.
