If I had the option of a shot or suppository, I would defer to the caregiver's experience and knowledge about me and my present condition that brought me there. If given a choice, and I could, again I would defer to the caregiver and seek their suggestion. But if I had to decide, I'd probably opt for the shot, as I agree with other posters, the shots work quicker.
Any particular reason for the M or F/Age question? Do you think it has a bearing on whether it's a shot given or suppository administered?
Me: M, well past my 40s.
