Glad to hear I'm not alone, Brenda! Please email me if you would like direct dialogue about buttock injections with a man in London.

I work in a Fast Track center and our doctor will most of the time order 1-2 injections on patients between 14-40. His reasoning is that most people in this age group will one not get their medication or just take it until they feel better. We have a sign at the front desk that tells people that all injections are given in the butt. We used to say hip , but we had the few who did not know what that meant. Surprisingly we do have patients that come back knowing they will get a shot. It is funny to see their reactions.

I had two first timers today. One was a 20 y/o brunette who came in for a sore throat. I swabbed her throat. She said am I going to have to get a shot in my butt? If you need an antibiotic yes you will get one.

I came back with bicillin injection. She stood up and bent over the bed. Her jeans unzipped in the back. I pulled them down. I uncapped the 18g needle and darted it in her buttock and slowly injected. She was crying when I finished. I pulled it out and massaged her hip and put a bandaid on her hip. She looked at it. That looks like a pencil you stuck in my ass. Your lucky you did not have to get two.

The other girl was 24 who had a UTI. I told her I had an injection and that it would be going in her butt. When I came back she was lying on the bed with her jeans and panties folded up in the chair. I was shocked at first. She said please be gentle. I hate shots and I am really scared. I explained that this injection burned. She told me to smack butt just before I stuck her. I gave her three slaps and then gave her the shot. She told me as she was putting on her panties she never felt me stick her or give her the shot. She said my butt is still stinging from your slap. I apologized and she said no big deal. I am glad I did not feel you stick me.
