Subject: Do you stay on track during the weekends?

Marty and I try to just eat out once a week (both to save money and not always eat crappy). So, when we go out, I tend to eat what I want and enjoy it. I generally find exercise difficult to squeeze in on the weekend except for walking the dog. As I live in Texas and recently every day's highs are over 100 degrees, we don't get very far on dog walks. Looking for creative ways to sneak in more exercise on the weekend. Wish we had a pool!

I actually do better on the weekends. During the week, I eat alone, so it is easier to grab something fast, rather than good. On the weekends that I am not working, I almost always make something healthier, since I am cooking a real meal.

because food's not so readily available at work and they always have a couple of salad choices for lunch in the cafeteria. Unless I'm running late I always pack a healthy snack and I also keep snack bars and a can of almonds in my desk drawer. That keeps me away from the donuts, muffins and cookies from the cafeteria and the treats people bring in.

I bring my lunch (no cafeteria) so I can manage what I take - usually a can of diet soda and something small; I have dried fruit in my drawer. Weekends I usually get more exercise but have a bigger lunch so I guess it's a wash.
