Subject: Hello darling, your lack of knowledge and insecurities are showing so I am back with A LOT MORE WORDS
In reply to: an idea 's message, "Or maybe, people who have spent a long time in Irish dance see the big picture a bit better..." on 14:06:55 12/20/25 Sat

Irish dance has never been one size fits all, no serious professional has ever claimed otherwise. That reality, however, is precisely why a TCRG matters. Certification does not enforce uniformity; it proves that an individual can teach across differences with structure, pedagogy, and accountability. Without it, one is not a teacher, merely a choreographer asserting personal preference as expertise. Without a TCRG the title of teacher is unearned, it really is as simple as that.

Your reliance on , ive been around longer, is meaningless. This is an anonymous forum, you have no idea who you are addressing and how long I as well as others have been involved in Irish dance. More importantly, you yourself prove the central point: time spent in the activity does not equate to understanding or competence. Being around longer, while still dismissing the necessity of professional qualification only underscores that failure.

Your open contempt for the TCRG, combined with the unprofessionalism of posting publicly in a venue most qualified teachers avoid, speaks volumes. It demonstrates a lack of standards, a lack of accountability, and a lack of respect for the profession. These are not marks of experience; they are hallmarks of a miscreant and its beyond obvious who you are.

Your comment only deepens the embarrassment you claim. You accuse others of lacking knowledge, yet repeatedly demonstrate that you do not understand what qualification means in a professional context. Being qualified is not self-declared experience, opinion, or longevity; it is formal recognition by a governing body. Your continued inability, or refusal, to grasp the importance of the TCRG exposes a fundamental misunderstanding of the profession you claim to speak for.

Knowledge that is neither examined nor accredited is irrelevant. Experience that rejects accountability is not expertise. Each time you dismiss the TCRG, you confirm that you do not understand the distinction between a dancer, a choreographer, and a teacher.

Also the issue is not that others wouldnt fit in your school, its severe case of unprofessionalism. Most TCs avoid the board like the plague due to its toxicity, but you clearly enjoy fuelling a fire even with a lack of knowledge. That speaks volumes about the teacher you must be. So the real problem would be, what on earth would kids learn from you? Apart from how to have an over inflated ego? You clearly dont care for the profession.

Here are a LOT more words for you seeing as you enjoyed the last one so much. Maybe this will help you understand your own failings and lack of knowledge a little better.
