Open platform was created out of necessity. For whatever reason, people either couldn't or just didn't want to join CLRG. Due to its closed platform status, people couldn't compete in CLRG events and needed opportunities. As a result, they banded together and created different organizations and eventually created their own feises. This new policy now starts to dismantle these long-held barriers. The problem is, people like yourself have now turned open platform in the very thing you blame CLRG of doing: created a cult-like status.
