But as someone who did speak to her at worlds she was very cordial and there were a lot of factors involved in the situation that were out of her hands.

For example she wanted to provide the same amazing trophies that were provided last time but at the very last moment the person who made them dropped out. At that time, because of politics in the states it was very expensive to get trophy items.

Go Feis handled the fees for the feis and mis-set the entries too low, so she didn't have the funds to cover the extra judges needed to judge and the trophies.

There were also issues with the judges during judging that caused problems.

Yes, someone should speak up, but when I spoke to her about it I think she is hoping to avoid confrontation by just getting the awards out. She is embarrassed by what happened and she also isn't online much. She reimbursed our money right when I spoke to her about it and was very apologetic. Her intent was never to be dishonest, this wasn't another Lawless situation. It was just a series of unfortunate events. But there are a lot of teachers who participate in WIDA feiseanna that would rather talk about people from the shadows instead of their faces. Maybe you should have asked your teacher why they refuse to address the situation directly.
