Those links to the Javelin pages mention how they came about and these surely are one of the most unique cars of our time. Although they had some reliability issues at first, If I was looking for an Alabama car, that would be the one! Subject Author Date ........but they were quick. Even mechanics at the dealership weren't given the exact interna; specs on these police 401 4V motors. They had specially designed "L" shaped heads and specially designed pistons, cranks,, cams, etc, completely different from the stock 401's! And they showed it.
