Nope... rapids! is her cheerful reply as she powers otter-like through the water. Rocks, pshaw... what's a little whitewater between friends? Let's see if you can keep up with me in my element, mri'fao! she laughs, a challenge lying heavy on her mindvoice as she releases her grip on the male's blade. Now freed to maneuver far more easily without the extra weight, the black rolls and with a kick using her entire back half as a strange sort of paddle, Numi careens around the first massive rock in the river, reasonably calm water turning frothy, churning mud below and white foam above. In the limited area between the two, where the current is the strongest, the lithe black swims easily, periwinkle eyes wide as she roll-kicks to avoid another obstacle. The turbulence beginning to deepen and rise simultaneously to thin the lane in which she swims, Numi sends a reckless mental laugh back to her friend -- a dangerous dare indeed she's given him!
