Hi,

I'm building an XP, and have just finished the wings.

The kit was originally owned by Kevin Widdowson, and he constructed the LE sections including the wing tanks and coated them with grey "jollop". I'm sure everything necessary was done properly, but this part of the build was probably ten or more years ago.

Question:- What experience have XP owners had with fuel proofing as per the original design? As I put these tanks into service, should I be full of confidence or otherwise?

What modifications, if any, would you advise?

Dave
