The 2024 Miss Universe Pageant will not be televised in English in the United States; it is expected to air primarily on Spanish-language networks like Telemundo.

I believe the MUO is headquartered in Bangkok now. The USA based MUO had franchise fees so high that supporters who would like their countries to compete could not afford it. Now there are 127 contestants from ALL over the world; it is global, and not catering to American interests anymore. This presentation show is terrible. No introductions, 90 minutes of national costume with shaynece and rbonny screaming to the top of they lungs followed by the most hideous swimsuits ever with more of the hosts screaming. USA national costume, I understood the context but she looked like a minstrel. Red lipstick is a no for her and this was consistent feedback from miss USA, she looked absolutely horrible (NT) No name

It truly was awful. Some contestants littered the stage with their "surprise" reveals, and others had to walk through it. Several contestants did not return for the evening gown competition. They were promised an evening gown competition and instead had to stand motionless on stage in groups of six. A truly blown opportunity to showcase some magnificent gowns. I turned it off after 2.5 hours in and they were still in swimsuits barely in the D country group. Just watched the 10 minutes of gowns.. boy what a disaster. USA again looks ridiculous that gown is hideous on her. I will say Filipinas looked amazing in blue but she seems very timid. Can't say much about the other countries. Anne, Osmel, and that Mexican owner have turned miss universe into nurstra bellaza and that pageant is a pain to watch. ....So this is actually true---no English-speaking cable network will air Miss Universe live from Mexico later tonight?? Only the Spanlsh-language (and Miss Universe obsessed) Telemundo will air the 2024 Miss Universe show at 8 pm/7 pm tonight? Also, someone noted here on Friday night, and its true, that channel will have a pre-show at 6 pm/5 pm tonight but no encore.
