Subject: Cassie Donegan, is competing in Miss NY MAO this year. She was last years Miss NY Volunteer, talent winner, Top five. She was a former Miss VA OT/ or Teen where she placed, I believe the same. Talent and top 5. She is returning to MAO because she is still eligible and loves to perform on stage. Subject Author Date She’s not returning just because she loves to be onstage. She’s returning because she has a genuine love for the organization and has legitimate goals she wants to accomplish for her community and state as a titleholder that MAO gives them a platform to do. Like many of these young women. I think people saying experiences they have done before were just practice to prepare them severely cuts short the impact they have made in other settings for their communities and the capability to do well they had even prior. Many were not just practicing for MAO but instead utilizing an opportunity for good to do things on their timeline.
