I'm tired of the pageant community quietly accepting the emotional abuse these women are put through to pursue their dream from egotistical, self-centered, unthinking directors. If the director can't recruit enough girls to make a two night pageant, the right thing to do is suck it up and stick with a one night pageant. It may even be a wash btw rental and security, custodial & stage hands & tix revenue. But these directors will allow that lone girl pay emotionally, while everyone watches her heartbreak, so they can sell tickets for a prelim night.
