Honestly don’t think there’s much volunteering involved at all. They mainly go around taking pictures in pretty dresses and giving shoutouts to sponsors. Even though they claim that each phase counts for 25% of scoring, it seems they also pic the girls based on appearance not how much they have accomplished. -- Miss Volunteer America Pageant
