Subject: There were so many gorgeous, not just throw out the word gorgeous, but STUNNING young women competing; so many accomplished and well educated (& at exceptional schools), so many who had talents you'd want to see again!, and all their gowns were glamorous with national level presentations/ poise. I can't remember a pageant with tougher competition!! It was the first time I though the cliche pageant statement "the judges have such a tough job picking one" was overwhelmingly true! It could have been so many girls night!

In reply to: 's message, "Absolutely. They probably placed her lower so it wouldn’t looked rigged, especially since the entire peanut gallery of Voy determined from the get-go that she couldn’t win or it was rigged. I feel so awful for her, because she absolutely deserved to place higher. They pushed her down to avoid controversy." on Sat May 07, 2022 23:37:34

[> [> [> Subject: Saying all this, there were a few that distinguished themselves. Miss Utah stood out to me in the opening number. She was sexy and beautiful and compelling to watch. As she competed, I understood why she kept advancing and would continue to- she had an aura of being grounded emotionally & mentally, with a mix of girl next door and glamour. When Miss NJ was called into the T15 and walked to the wrong side of the stage and moved over to the other side, the way she handled it I knew she would be T5 bc she was fun! And so comfortable in her own skin. Miss RI was drop dead gorgeous and since she was going to Wharton for her MBA, she was my pick at that point.
