Lisa, also remember a few times neighbor mom giving an enema on the kitchen table.

Was given to the younger ones. Toddler or baby.

Same as you saw, a legs up in the air some giving a soapsuds enema with a bulb syringe.

Was never told to stay out of the kitchen when she was preparing and giving an enema.
Made me nervous seeing and knowing he was getting an enema from her.

She would come and tell the one who was going to get an enema to come with her. My friend and I knew what he was going to get.

When she decided he had enough given, most of the time two bulb full, she would hold the buttocks together. And tell him to relax and hold it.

She would tell him to take deep breaths in and out of open mouth to help him hold it. When she felt was enough time he was taken to the potty to expel.

I made a few trips through the kitchen when she was preparing for the enema, giving the enema and cleaning up after giving it. She didnt care if we were in the kitchen or not.

Made me nervous, kinda of exciting, seeing her cleaning the bulb in the kitchen sink full of warm soapy water. Then rinsing with warm water. She would smile at me when cleaning the enema bulb. Always wondered why she smiled at me when she had the enema bulb in her hand squeezing the water out of it.

She was a nurse. She asked me if my mom gave enemas. I told her she did.

Later would see the enema bulb airing out in the bathroom for a few days .
