Nancy, omg bring back memories of the enema when growing up!

When I was about 10 or so my friend and I would hang out at the soda fountain (hardly heard of these days) in the drug store.
While sitting there taking forever to drink our cherry cokes, we could see the enemas on the shelf. In those days there was lots of them on the shelf. Some were even out of the box displayed.

We would see a mom come into the store and shop for an enema. Most of them had their kid or kids in tow. Sometimes we knew who the mom was and we knew she brought an enema bulb syringe for her child.

Those were the days where you would get help in a store. The woman working in the store was always helpful and answered questions. When asked about the enema bulb she would remove it from the box while talking to the mom.

The older woman who worked there never said anything to us. She knew we were watching the mom buy an enema bag or bulb. To this day wonder why she would always look at us when she was showing the enema bulb to a mom.

She would tell the mom she gives enemas to her two at home and uses the bulb syringe on them for it.

Now days you hardly see an enema bulb in the store. Or you have to look hard to find one.
