Krystal, I also wish I had grabbed her home nursing book.
The old home nursing books are impossible to find these days.

They did have good instructions for preparing and giving the enema.

The one I remember had a picture (not color of course) of the mom preparing for the enema.

She was at kitchen sink. Making pan of soapy water. On the counter there was a small enema bulb sitting out. Was the child’s size. So would be like the 4oz Cara bulb today.

Every time I visited her house I read her nursing books.

The one I loved was a large sized book. Hard copy. Brown cover.

It was apparent the enema for the child was suggested!
