I got them for fevers, well everything. My Mom believes enemas cure all ills. She was taught that the enema itself can not hurt you if given and there was nothing wrong with you. But if you are sick, fever, cold, flue , mild digestive issues, that it will help. In the 90's it wasn't common. But my Mom had a douche bag, and could give a enema with it. .
