The green 'lizard was gently nudging an egg with her talon when Spirit gave out a long hiss of warning. She looked up, her emerald hide gleaming, and noticed the woman. SHe chirped for Spirit to stop--she was backing out of their nest. The brown wrapped his tail around 'his egg'--the largest in the clutch, which he had taken a particular liking to--and nudged Reign gently.

The green listened with an inquisitive look as the elder spoke to her. She cocked her head like a young flit (which, technically, she was still pretty young) and chirped. She didn't know human language, of course, but she could get the idea of what this woman wanted! Looking to her eggs fondly, she nudged one of the larger eggs. The shell was hardened, and she knew it was to hatch soon. Giving a slightly melancholy chirp, she nudged the egg towards Clariss, and Spirit got out of the nest to help. He grasped the egg in his talons, then launched into the air, and hovered in front of the woman. Being the paculiar 'lizard he was, he wanted to present her with the egg himself.

((By the way, if you'd like to write in your next post that she took the egg, I won't consider that power-playing Spirit. Some people would, but... yeah.))
