The olive-skinned chap nods emphatically, still treading water like a dark fish. He has the endurance to keep himself up for a while, even if he's not the best swimmer. A low chuckle fills his throat. 'Yeah, I'm a Candidate. The last time I saw Shrineth on the heights, she looked really egg heavy..'

Uamaro trails off. His head tilts to one side and an odd look passes over his rich features. 'Listen,' comes his excited whisper as a distant trumpeting fills the air. 'I think we should go back to the Weyr. I think that was the clutch, and, well.. I want to see it.' Brows arch over blackish eyes as he laughs, and a hand rises from the water in a wave to the still-anonymous bluerider, a wave of silver cascading from the upthrust limb. Uamaro kicks with all his might, his thick body cutting through the swells as he powers back to shore. It ripples down his body as he shakes it off, before sliding into his sandals and darting up the beach.
