Subject: The story of Twins Aliena and Youeffoh (Part 1)

Y: My name is Youeffoh.
A: I'm her identical twin and my name is Aliena.
Y: My twin sister and I were found by a drudge near Ruatha the morning after a large gather. We were taken in and fostered out to many different mothers. It was decided that we would celebrate our birthingday on the anniversary of that gather day because no one could pinpoint the exact date of out birth. Growing up, we often traveled between Ruatha's minor holds, learning many useful domestic skills, and being educated by the Ruatha Harper, Roallin, who said that I had great potential as a Harper. Aliena and I shared a room and also a special bond that only twins or maybe Dragonriders could understand.
A: That is very true. It's like I knew when Youeffoh was in trouble or upset or extremely happy. I started to feel the same way.
Y: Our foster mothers used to keep one of us in sight at all times because, when we were younger, we shared intense emotions.
A: What she means is that if either twin (the one in sight or not) got hurt, both of us would start to cry, then they would know when something was wrong.
Y: I think it worked out well enough.
A: So anyway, when we were 8 turns old
Y butting in: (approximately)
A continuing: we were looking at one of Harper Roallin's picture books when we saw our first picture of a dolphin. I knew right then and there that I wanted to be a Dolphineer and get to swim with such beautiful creatures.
Y: I had already decided that I wanted to be a Harper, but I also wanted to be a Dolphineer. Maybe if I wasn't accepted at the Harper Hall I could become a Dolphineer instead. Of course, we both grew up with the hope of being searched and becoming Dragonriders.
A: It never happened though. Not even a Fire Lizard between us. Oh well. We grew up in the normal way, dreaming, learning, working, etc. Then, about 4 sevendays before our 16
Y butting in again: (approximately)
A continuing: turn birthingday, I decided to turn my dream into reality and caught a ride to the Dolphin Hall.
Y: I was so inspired by my sister's courage in chasing her dream that I got the next available runner and went to the Harper Hall to try my luck.
A: You were inspired by me?
Y: Yeah. Crazy right. I'm usually the bold one, going out and challenging the world.
A: I really wanted to see a dolphin live and up close. And I really wanted to become a Dolphineer.
Y: Then, one day, as I was traveling towards the Harper Hall, I started feeling intense happiness. I knew that either Aliena had seen a dolphin live and up close for the first time or she had become a Dolphineer. When I arrived at the Harper Hall I found a not saying that Aliena had become an apprentice Dolphineer.
A: I also saw a dolphin as I was entering the Hall so in a way, Youeffoh was right on both counts. Also, recently we went to a Fire Lizard clutch and I impressed a Blue named Oriona.
Y: And I got a Bronze named Plato.
A: Plato?
Y: Yeah, he was a great Greek scholar from old Earth.
A: Oh. Whatever.
Y: Anyways, currently, I am waiting at the Harper Hall to see if the MasterHarper will allow me to become an apprentice Harper.
A: Good luck of course.
Y: Of course?
A: Well what kind of a sister would I be if I didn't wish you good luck.
Y: Oh, well so far, that is our life story. Rather dull so far in my opinion, but if we become apprentices and/or journeywomen, we will have quite a few more things to tell.
