A mechanoid arm suddenly slams into the table, rattling glasses as well as the bartender's nerves. After all, it isn't every day or night or gloaming that you see a gargantuan stranger done up in a black-as-death cowl, with only a silent silver-pupilled eye - the iris being dark as the shadows themselves - and a mechanical arm crafted of cold, dulled steel. A raspy, feminine voice emanates from the cowl, tones of grating iron and the brink of life.

"...green ale."

Shivering at the sight of this willowy, ten-foot enigma, the barkeep gets her what she asks, handing the cup with a shaking hand. That piercing gaze drives down, the black folds bobbing as the creature nods. The mug is dwarfed in the curving claws of the metal hand, and the huge Shifter downs it in two gulps, not asking for more. Such intoxicating take no effect on her senses, either, having become immune long ago. A rasping laugh emits from the mysterious mercenary, echoing across the tavern with grim demeanor.
