::Karsky smiles and scoots the chair out, sitting and leaning back slightly. Ain, however, takes the chair in one hand and spins it around. She slides into it, resting her arms on the back. The younger girl rolls her eyes, but the smile never wavers::
"Thank you, J'red. I am Karsky."
::Ain grins and leans forward, eyes glittering::
"What she said, except I'm Ain! Say, it is lonely in here, isn't it?"
::She sends her blue gaze through the Inn, coming to resettle on Karsky and J'red in a slightly disapproving manner::
"Well! You woulda thought more from Pern came over. I mean, sure, there weren't many of us left, but there were sure more than this!"
::Ain declares this, but is hushed by the light in Karsky's eyes::
"Yes, I know who you're looking for, Ain. And as to the lack of riders, some of us didn't get the chance to Impress and others...they died."
::Karsky's voice softened, once again sending Ain into a rebuttal of silence::
