Slapping a six-fingered hand on the counter, the white Tokathe, gives a sudden rain of laughter. The almost-maddened tirade goes on for several minutes, until Rehvah shakes some sense into himself. Wiping his eyes idly, he finally comments.

"Aye, the pretty ones always have some sort of unspeakable past...well, methinks it's due time for another song."

Rolling agiley back to his feet, the harper clears his throat, before striking up a tune rather contradictory to his previous mood. Solemn and sober ring both his voice and the gentle thrumming of the small harp.

"The night is cold and grim,
And shadows lurk in the dim,
My fear has replaced my whim,
I am lost in the everdark.

Rain falls soft yet it feels like stone,
Damp shrubs are way overgrown,
Standing on the hill is the warrior lone,
I am lost in the everdark.

My hopes soar that day comes soon,
The sun will rise to replace the moon,
The dawn must lay past this final dune,
Yet, alas it does not...for I am lost in the everdark."

The last chord sounds lost, faint, and foreboding, and as soon as his saddened brown gaze lifts from the stings, they flit briefly to Kain before shutting and gazing sightlessly forward. It's as if the final note still hangs in the quiet air for a few moments.
