Subject: The newly-Hatched green dragon and her rider enter together.

Laffranth yawns hugely. *Akema, I'm tired!*

Akema smiles and pats her lifemate's shoulder. ^I know, dearheart. So am I.^ She indicates an empty sleeping platform. ^Curl up there, why don't you?^

*Okay,* the hatchling says willingly, doing as her rider bids. Her eyes, slowly whirling green, are fixed lovingly upon her lifemate.

The girl sits down on the edge of the platform, her hand resting on Laffranth's back. Suddenly, a small green firelizard appears from between, vigorously scolding Akema.

*Who's this?* Laffranth asks curiously, peering at the chittering firelizard.

"This is Wista, my firelizard," Akema says aloud. Wista chirps and ceases scolding at the sound of her name.

*She's yours? How cute! And look, she's almost the same color as me!* Fascinated, the young green extends her snout to the firelizard.

^Yes, she is,^ Akema replies, then settles Wista with a mental command. As Laffranth lies her head back down and closes her eyes, the firelizard lands on the hatchling's nose. Akema leans back against her dragon, closing her eyes as well. After only a few minutes, all three are deeply asleep.
