Alara closes her eyes, her face pale. Taking a deep breath, she calms herself. About the answer, "I'm fine, R'nos," she changes her answer to the truth. "Tired. And weak," she answers. She searches for his hand, meaning to clasp it reassuringly. It took great will on her part to complete the squeeze. "I've not been working at all," she replies softly. "I'm just a-"

*You are not a little tired. You are also not just a little sick. Rhia, will you and Kyinth get Alaseri?* she asks, far more worried than she sounds. She beats her wings in agitation, not being able to do anything herself. *Alara, you are sick! So shut up and lay down! Can someone get her food? Anything but the red meat; she doesn't like it much at all.* Then she turns her attention to calming Alara's two fire-lizards, who were, luckily, staying out of the weyr.

Surprised at her dragon, Alara follows instructions quickly, flopping onto the bed, and rolling onto her back. Feeling helpless and vulnerable, she closes her eyes once again.
