Author: Marja
Subject: [Isabel, Sahira, in!]

((I'm taking a guess for now on where the wounds are and how bad they are; if you have something specific in mind, note it when you reply so I can adjust accordingly. ^_^ Sorry for the short, I should have been in bed half an hour ago.))

Although Marja had come to the Sands prepared to treat the injured, she'd truly hoped she wouldn't have to. The stories are worrisome, but the actual incidents can't be that common, right? As the second green of the clutch mauls two girls in passing, however, the Journeyman Healer is suddenly very glad that she came prepared to work and not just cheer on her younger friend. She sees the brown emerge from its shell and approach Liandro as she rushes over to the girls, but can only afford him a forced grin and an encouraging gesture as he passes. Thankfully, he seems too preoccupied to mind. Unslinging her back from her shoulder, Marja kneels between them, grateful that they're close together, and glances quickly from one to the other. The second girl seems the worse off, having been kicked as well as clawed - and dragons have talons on their hind legs, too. To Marja's relief, neither of them seem to have immediately dangerous wounds, though they're not trifling ones either. She can deal with this. "I'd like you out of the path of other dragons," the Healer decides, glancing up. "Can either of you stand? Don't try if you don't think you can. We'll see if we can get some help for that. Some help, here!" she calls to the people standing nearby, then bends anxiously over her patients again. Yes, Isabel will definitely need some help, and if she can get a strong enough volunteer to take her - or two volunteers - Sahira could probably use some assistance as well. Marja doesn't want to get too involved in examinations until she has them out of the way of any further hatchlings, but until she's examined them and seen exactly how bad the claw-marks are, she doesn't want to take any chances. A deep gash in the wrong place could breach the abdominal cavity if too much stress was put on it, and the violent falls might have made them woozy, especially the red-haired girl who had recieved that nasty kick.
