M�att just held Synthis, stroking her hair, until she had cried herself out. When she pulled away he didn�t try to stop her, he merely let her do as she wished, always ready to take her in his arms again. Ashertith raised his dark brown head to look at her as she began to sign, trusting M�att to tell him what as going on.

A slow-burning frown crossed the young man�s face as she signed. This was the wrong way to go about it. He didn�t know how he knew, he just did. And one again, his clumsy tongue was getting him in the way of saying it to her. He would just have to try as best he could.

With a little help from me. Ashertith added, and M�att was intensely grateful. Already the brown had the makings of a very eloquent dragon. Which is lucky � if I wasn�t, then where would you be?

�But Synthis�if you don�t tell me�then we�ll never be comfortable. Like I said I can�I can feel you get uncomfortable when I touch you. And I want to know why. And Xiualith does too. And if I knew�maybe I could help? I know I�m not going to understand, but couldn�t I help?�

((Sorry it took me so long! My muse must have gone on a business trip to Hawaii or something! But he�s back now! And it is a he � that�s why I can hardly ever do female chars! Hmm�I can�t get through to Pup at the moment � her e-mail won�t let me. Could you tell me the plan? Is it fun?))
