~No, but Rinali of retired golf Lilith will teach us. They’re calling a GREEN to demonstrate.~ She gave a draconic grin—one of her color would demonstrate the way to sear Thread from the skies of their beloved planet Pern!
Oh, come on. Danny said, giving the green a little swat on the shoulder. Just because a green will be showing us doesn’t make greens superior. Now, I don’t mean you aren’t. Of course you are.
~Thank you. When I rule the world, you shall live.~ Eiriannath joked.
Of course I will.
~Yes, because I love you.~
It could be that… or is it because you’ll die between without me?
~Eh… I see your point.~
Of course you do.
Danny walked up towards Rinali, Eiriannath right behind her. Both stood at complete attention, and listened attentively to Rinali’s words. Then, they watched as green Mesatith flew in.
~There she is! I will be like her one day.~ Eiriannath said, awe in her voice.
Nope. You’ll be better.
~Really?~
Yes. You have me.
~How could I forget?~ The green said sarcastically.
They watched the green flame, the Danny turned to Eiriannath. I’ll go get the firestone.
~All right. I’ll wait here.~ Eiriannath answered.
Danny returned a few moments later, the firestone in her arms. Repeating the way A’ron and Rinali had broken it, she soon had pieces small enough for the green.
~What’re you waiting for?~ Eiriannath asked.
Is D’niel ok? She asked.
~Elitarith just asked me the same thing. He’s fine. Now, let’s flame!~
Smiling, Danny held out the firestone, which Eiriannath took immediately.

~Second stomach, I know~
They waited a few seconds, then, Eiriannath’s eyes swirled red with the new feeling. Turning her head, she let out the sudden burst of flame.
~How was it?~ Eiriannath asked as they went over to the ash pile.
Wonderful, love! ~What is it?~ Eiriannath asked, startled.
Well… she said, grinning. You’re now sterile.
Eiriannath whacked her with her long green tail. ~I love you too, Danny.~
