((You can choose the names of your hatchlings, I just chose random font colors, and paired them with a possible name. Hint, Whers are always named after its handler, with 'sk' on the end. Example; Renilan/Resk; Kindan/Kisk; Nuella/Nuelsk. Whers at large Hold's name themselves after the Hold, and bond themselves to a member of the Blood. Example; Lemos-Lemosk/Lord Daerl.
Manethenre gets terriblky confused in the following. Wouldn't it be easier if she could just see?))

"They're hatching!"
Manethenre made this statement when a tiny shard was chipped off the shell of her egg, then a large crack split down the middle. Her nimble fingers estimated the drack to extend halfway around the wrinkled shell, and went through to the hatchling inside.

Fierce Fealty

Maneth watched his blind mistress measure the egg again and again. Her fingers sconstantly measured the progress of the hatchling.

Mask

Manethenre's young fingers encountered damp hide as she measured the width of the crack. With a shove, the hatchling broke free. Its mind reached for Manethenre, and an overwhelming hunger eveloped her.

Telomsk

The egg Mikhal had chosen shook violently for a second, then split open. A damp brown hatchling opened his absurdly large eyes, and headbutted Telomn's middrift. An overwhelming sense of hunger swept from the hatchling to Telomn.

Clesk

Telomn's egg hatched without much notice. The blue hatchling craned his small head, and his absurdly large eyes latched onto the heat form of Clell.

Misk

The last egg hatched. It took a few minutes, but the large bronze knew where he was going. His heat-sighted eyes sought out Mikhal, the oldest of the non-bonded. Actually, the only non-bonded teenager.

Mask/Manethenre

Maneth bared his teeth when the hatchling wher bit at him. Manethenre felt him, and heard his growl, and tried to soothe the wrinkled forehead.
"Manetherra, could you get Mithrandil and Hero under control?"
gold That was the one color in Manetherra's mind. Green Mithrandil saw the dusky hatchling for his favorite color.
Brown Hero thought that the wher looked brown. Except for the blue, they did look all brown.
Green. Gold. Brown.
Colors and confusing emotional pictures were sent crashing through Manthenre's skull.
Brrrrlll?
The little Hatchling mumbled, hunger still coursing through Manethenre's veins.
"Yima, what do I do? Mask is starving. Where's the food!"
Cool! Crackle Jackle. Ooglyoo. Zip pow! Ooglyoo.

She had to stay cool. She didn't want Yima to think poorly of her, abut the need to get food for Mask was overwhelming. It was all Mantenre could do not to stagger under the weight of the demand. Maneth and Hera supported her, sitting by her hips as she silently tried to measure Mask's body length. Twelve hand lengths from nose to tail. Five hand lengths from shoulder to foot pad.
Finally, all three firelizards came to an agreement.
Bronze
Bronze
Bronze.

Bronze? That couldn't be right! Manethenre twisted her head so that her sightless eyes were staring straight at the trio of lizards.
They began squawking again.
Brown.
Brown.
Brown.

Brown? Maneth growled softly, warning the trio.
Gold
Green
Brown.

The lizards went back to their original color.
Hera snapped silently. She could see that the hatchling was the same golden hue as the queen who has watched them, but she could speak telepathically.
Gold.
Gold

Slight pause.
Gold
She bonded the gold? That couldn't be! Her disordered state of mind almost set the lizards off again, but Hera gently bit Manethenre's hand, and she believed it.

((Finally done. I go to get to bed. Few more post.))
