Headstrong to take on anyone…

Amyr gave a loud gasp as small arms closed around her, and the small, three turn younger girl pinned Amyr’s hands to her sides. Looking up, her bright green eyes flashed dangerously as she saw the wherrie fly off, safe.
Enraged, she struggled against the younger girl’s grip, even more annoyed when she found the girl clinging on as if Amyr was a criminal trying to escape the police.

“Get off, you stupid brat!”

After her screech, the little girl had let go; two boys, one younger and the other older than Amyr, had grabbed her and pulled her off. She dusted herself off neatly, inwardly thanking the skies that Lyzel had called her ma’am. She looked very boyish, and nothing would ever annoy her more than being called ‘sir’.

And better now…

Amyrel had snapped his eyes open once the shreik was heard, and was instantly confused. What was the small girl doing here? And why was she attacking Amyr? He instantly cooled once the man and the boy pulled the girl away, and the man—had he said Lyzel, or Lenel?—explained the situation. Inwardly, Amyrel thanked the girl. He wouldn’t have to live with the guilt of one more wherrie’s blood on his sister’s hands. The girl… had she been called Taryn? Yes, Taryn… he’d remember her name. Taryn was the name of the girl that impressed gold Sylath, right before R’lin saved and impressed Moth. Yes, he decided. Taryn was one name he’d remember. However, what had been her bigger twin’s name…?
I know that you are wrong…

Still annoyed by Taryn’s attack, Amyr answered Lyzel with an edge in her voice.

“Amyr’s the name, and that’s my twin Amyrel. And I can tell.” She looked over at the girl acidicly, but Taryn had been walking away to where the bird had been, and didn’t see. “She’ll annoy many a hunter, if you let her go on attacking.”

Anyone can find the same white pills…

Amyrel looked over, and frowned. Where was Taryn going? He waited patiently, but his heart started pounding when she came back. She ha d a wherrie in her hands! Her brother, however, seemed to find it even more distressing, and though Amyr was deathly afraid of wherries, he knew deeply how Taryn felt for the poor little guy. Looking at the little thing in her hands, Amyrel had to admit that it was cute. And, it was motherless. A part of him remembered Taryn back in Seiliez Weyr, and how she’d taken in an orphaned feline just a sevenday before her Impression to Sylath. He would definetly remember this name.
And this is not where you belong…

Amyr sighed, still infuriated, and looked at her brother. He was gazing at that Taryn girl as if either he knew her, which she knew wasn’t true, or he was thinking something about her. However, her brother failed to keep her intrest, so she turned back to Lyzel and Talyn, waiting for them to say something or leave.

Takes my pain away…

“I think Elija is a good name.” He whispered, though they’d probably heard him. He didn’t like people to hear his voice. It was weird, because it was rather high for a boy’s voice; right in between boy and girl ranges. Amyr’s was the same, but that was just another reason to hold it back. He didn’t want anyone to think he was exactly like his sister!
