Would you recommend for a smart mouthed 16 yr old full of herself? And until one of her friends get it, she doesn't have the advice of older siblings, would you recommend letting her sweat it knowing the bottom is gonna fall out or let her learn the hard way? Sometimes that also meant waiting for the next day to worry about things during which time we were behaving like angels. I would let her find out the hard way. That was a miserable experience. However, in my family if you got too big for your jeans that meant a long session naked with the bathbrush and horrible soapy enema to change attitudes. I was punished this way only when I did not listen or act to the warnings and it was clearly known what was going to happen next. I was just too dumb to understand that my mother would follow through with her warnings. Hopefully, you will not need to go beyond the warning stage.
