I got spanked well into my teen years because I asked for it instead of being grounded. I would rather get a few stripes on my legs with a switch than to spend a week or two on restrictions.

That's what a veteran of 4 and 5 lick paddlings told me. She said that if she wasn't already crying by 3, she sure as heck was at 4!
