The following was one I witnessed and one my ex did. Both seem pretty cruel. First, a boy is over mom’s lap and she asks a “word per spank” question, have-you-learned-your-lesson? He says yes, and mom says “let’s make sure,” then continues with rapid fire spanks. Cruel. Second, my ex is witnessing her younger sis, about 12 l, getting spanked over her mom’s lap after time at the beach the day before. Girl yells something unintelligible, mom stops the spanking to ask what. My sunburn! Watch my sunburn! Mom responds, “Good, let’s make you red all over!” — then continues the spanking. Crueler. Sometimes mom would FINALLY “stop” spanking me and let me crying/wiggle across her lap. She’d mini-lecture, “You know you deserved to be spanked, right? The truth was the mere coincidence of all the factors. It was almost always a Post Hoc fallacy mistake to think that using the words I said "last" would have worked if I had used them earlier!
