I take it by your capitalized response that you haven’t resolved this in your mind yet. I am guessing that you have never been spanked before by your parents so I can understand your confusion. Perhaps I can explain a few things that will help you to understand this.

Your hostess obviously likes you and wanted to do something nice for you. She probably misses having her daughters around and was looking forward to your company. It sounds like she was treating you like her own daughter.

Now as far as the spanking goes, she was raised in an era when spanking was a normal response to bratty behavior. Her daughters probably felt a few spankings from Mom themselves. I know what was normal in her time because I am one of the older members here and when I was growing up my friends and I just knew that if we behaved badly we were going to get spanked. And it was usually with a paddle or strap. We tried to avoid it. It usually only took one or two spankings to put an end to bad behavior.

I think you owe it to your hostess to acknowledge your admitted bad behavior. Hopefully you will correct that going forward. I believe that someday, no matter how you feel about her spanking you in exasperation, that you will look back and consider her to be one of your best friends.
