It sounds to me Livie, that the spanking you got from Agnes was long overdue. Now that you have been properly spanked and the hairbrush is sitting on the table, you know what to expect if you misbehave in the future. The spanking and the hairbrush obviously had the desired effect on you, as you are thinking twice before acting. That's exactly what spankings and the threat of spankings are supposed to accomplish.

When I grew up in the 1950's and 1960's, almost every home had a paddle. strap or hairbrush in plain sight as a reminder to behave. And if we didn't behave, we would suffer the consequences.

You are very fortunate to have found a woman like Agnes who cares about you enough to provide the maternal guidance and discipline that you obviously need.

I coudnt agree more with Fran, you coudnt say it better, Fran.

Livid, you didn’t tell us what happend that you came close to a spanking?
Was there a spanking treat?
I also wonder if the spanking was discussed between you and Agnes after everything was back to normal again.
Did she say anything like that you can expect a spanking when she thinks it’s needed ?
