Many young adults still feel a need to have a parental-type figure in their lives. I have mentored two college-aged young women who actually wanted to be disciplined as they were until they left home. I think many young adults feel something is missing because they still need guidance to a degree. Not everyone does but it's okay to feel that. Good luck finding someone. Obviously Agnes is a nurturing, maternal figure who you seem to need in your life. She knows what you need and gives it to you when you need it. You don't seem to resent her discipline, as you've never once mentioned resisting or moving out. As painful and embarrassing as a bare bottomed spanking can be at your age, it gives you something to think about when you're about to do something stupid. As does the hairbrush sitting on the dining room table in plain view. You are a very fortunate young lady to have someone take such an interest in your well being and apply loving discipline like Agnes does. Count your blessings young lady.....and behave yourself!
