Is there any other way to deal with a child who comes later than curfew? Why not just put him or her very early to bed? For example, if a 14 year old comes late after curfew, put him or her 7 p.m. to bed for one or several days.

If he or she reverts back to their childhood days regarding when he or she went to bed, perhaps, they shall readily learn about coming home on time. Before going to sleep 7 a.m. they ought to shower and get ready for bed at 6:45 a.m. to meet the curfew at 7:00 a.m. to be ready for bed.
